This post will explain how to setup bsnl wireless modem ZTE ZXDSL 531B:
1. Go to Network Connections in you PC
My Network Places -> View network Connections
2. Right Click Wireless Network Connection -> Properties -> Internet Protocol (TCP/IP ) -> Properties
3. Enter following entries in IP Addresses
IP address: 192.168.1.5
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
Default gateway: 192.168.1.1
Preferred DNS server: 208.67.222.222
Alternate DNS server: 208.67.220.220
4. Access admin panel of your wireless modem
Wireless -> Security
WEP Encryption -> Enabled
Enter a network key and Save
That's it... you are done... refresh the wireless network list and connect to your network...
